Introduction Established
in 1988, founding partner Stuart Cook has been successfully working in
the residential sector for over 25 years. Diversity is the key to
this area of the business, working on projects from simple internal
alterations through to extensions, loft conversions and new dwellings.
Whether
you require a simple conservatory or porch, a major two-storey
extension or complete new home, ASE's residential department can
successfully guide you from inception to completion.
Rather than move house and incur substantial legal
costs, why not consider your current home, as we can usually achieve the space you need.
You may need a larger lounge, kitchen or bedroom, and extra room for the kids to play or relax in, a study, utility,
bathroom, toilet or en suite.
ASE can turn you home into a place to enjoy,
to relax in and above all, be practical and liveable.
We have the ideas
to turn your dreams into reality, so you do not need to move home.
We
use the latest computer aided design technology (CAD), to produce all
our drawings, with optional coloured computerized 3-D images, which can
help you see how the final design will look when complete.
Feasibility
A
free initial on site consultation from one of our experienced members
of staff will be your starting point. At this initial meeting we
will carefully listen to your requirements and help decide with the
best solution, providing many different ideas along the way.
Then
we will discuss various Council permissions, which may or may not be
needed, budget build costs, other procedures and how our fees work.
We
will then write to you enclosing our free quotation, examples of our
work and other relevant information. This then starts your
projects, knowing that in the hands of ASE you are being professionally
led to a successful conclusion.
After discussing many options we will all try and
agree on a way forward and prepare a free quotation detailing all the stages of work.
Planning
We
are very experienced in this area and when initially meeting with you
we will discuss the various Planning requirements particular to the
Local Authority in which you live.
Indeed, many projects do not need Planning Permission
and we will advise if this is applicable to your project.
If
it is found that Planning Permission is required, we will advise what
the Council will slow and discuss the procedure in more detail.
As part of our service we would fill in any application forms, submit the application to the
Council and liaise with them to secure a decision.
